Weapons

The road to Empire was, unfortunately, paved by war. The Republic was dying of its own corrupt weight and breakaway factions were tearing the galaxy apart. Only a strong leader in control of a mighty military force could break the malcontents and unite the planets under one rule again.

Again, when the Rebellion emerged to challenge the existing order - forgetting what anarchy the Empire had helped to abate - the military forces of the Empire were called upon to resist the well-meaning, but utterly deluded Rebels. However, the DC-15 rifles of the Clone Wars were not adequate to this task. A new series of weapons were now the standard in personal arms, most improvements on earlier designs...all meant to deal out death in defense of the Empire.
